Travel Information and How to Find Us
We are in an ideal holiday location in south Charente, South West France, close to the Dordogne, Charente Maritime and Gironde departments. This therefore gives you the opportunity to explore various different departments and their distinct features and character.
There is very little public transport in rural France so your own transport is essential! You may therefore wish to drive directly or hire a car from the airport or TGV station in advance of your stay.

Road:
Motorway junction A10/N10.
From Brossac head on the D7 road to Martron and Montguyon. After approximately one km, turn right at the crossroads and we are first on the right. Look for the wooden cross. If arriving from Martron we are on the left at the crossroads.

St Malo 4hrs 50mins; Caen 5 hours; Roscoff 6hrs; Le Havre 6hrs; Cherbourg 6hrs 15mins; Calais 7hrs 30mins.

Around 7hrs 30mins.
Airports:
Bordeaux Airport is the nearest, around 80 minutes drive.
Bergerac Airport is around 95 minutes.
Limoges, Poitiers and La Rochelle are all about 2 hours away.
Rail:
The high-speed TGV stops at Angoulême and Bordeaux. The nearest train station to us is Chalais. There is also a station at Coutras, which is convenient for trains into Bordeaux, or onward even to Arcachon.
