La Cachette (“The Hideaway”) is our charming two bedroom gîte, hidden away and surrounded by nature.

With lots of character, it has a welcoming and rustic feel, with original features such as exposed stone walls, which help to keep the gîte cooler in the summer months. It is all on the ground floor and can accommodate up to four people. 

There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, and one with two single beds, and a separate shower room. There is a spacious living room with a comfortable seating area one end, and a kitchen/dining area.

The gîte benefits from a secluded private outside terrace for dining alfresco, with views across the meadow to the woodland. From here you can enjoy breakfast listening to the birds, and watch the evening sunset over the neighbouring vines. You may even catch a glimpse of deer or hares in the meadow. There is a ramp leading to the gîte and terrace from the garden.

The pool is accessed via a short stroll across the garden. There are sun beds and parasols available, and for those who prefer a shadier spot there are hammocks on the edge of the woodland. 

La Cachette is pet friendly, although please be aware the garden and terrace are not fully enclosed; there are livestock nearby and free ranging chickens on site. 

With a well-equipped interior, feature stone walls and floors, La Cachette offers a relaxed and welcoming environment for your holiday. Ideal for families with older children, a small group of friends or a couple looking for a romantic break. It is equipped with Wi-Fi so is also suitable for guests wanting to ‘work from home’ in a peaceful and relaxing setting.
